Description:
The Procurement Office of the City of Reykjavik, on behalf of the Environment and Planning Department, is planning to tender for the construction of portable classrooms to be placed on a plot of land in Laugardalur, Reykjavik, next spring/summer. Currently, the project involves the construction and installation of 2 portable classrooms, as well as a connecting corridor. The final number of classrooms may be increased to 11. The classrooms must meet all necessary requirements to obtain a building permit and must comply with all building regulations related to educational facilities. Each classroom unit is approximately 80 m², on a single floor. The final scope of the connecting corridor will be clarified later. The classroom units should be made of wood / wooden structure. Each unit must be transportable as a whole and placed on the plot, to be connected with the corridor. Each unit will include a classroom for 20 students, a restroom, and an entrance hall.
