Description:
The buyer wants a robust web-based solution/system for multiple users that calculates greenhouse gas emissions for all major environmental factors. The system must be equipped with the advantages of being able to handle registrations for local authorities. The system must be able to retrieve data from suppliers with a direct data stream and calculate greenhouse gas emissions by volume, based on certified calculation standards built into the system's functionality. The system must be able to keep track of assets and asset classes and break down emissions and quantity figures by assets and asset classes. The system must be able to display results graphically and in data tables and keep track of emissions, assets and asset classes in subsystems for business units of the City of Reykjavík, e.g. individual fields or workplaces. The system must be able to keep out a two-factor importance analysis, policies, actions and results in social, economic and environmental issues.
