- Landsnet, the electric transmission system operator in Iceland, is conducting a preliminary market consultation to explore available solutions for a new balancing market software. The purpose of the consultation is to gain insight into existing solutions and technological capabilities in the market. Interested parties are invited to present their solutions through online meetings. Scope Landsnet is seeking a modern software solution to replace its current balancing software, which manages balancing reserves by collecting, tabulating, activating and provides feedback on reserve capacity. The new software must be compatible with Landsnet-s GE EMS/SCADA system, e-terraplatform.
