Description:
The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (IRCA) opens tender for construction of two concrete bridges on Vestfjarðarvegur. Bridge on Djupifjodur is 58 m long and bridge on Gufufjordur is 130 m long. The tender includes demolition of the existing 119 m long temporary bridge on Gufufjordur along with transportation of filling material from current workplans and the construction of rock protection. The estimated main quantities are: Road construction: - Rock cutting 38.000 m3 - Filling 53.500 m3 - Rock protection 19.000 m3 Bridges - Bridge safety barrier 382 m - Excavation 17.300 m3 - Filling for concrete structures 6.000 m3 - Rock cutting 180 m3 - Formwork 5.900 m2 - Reinforcement steel 260 tonn - Post tension cables 58 tonn - Concrete 3120 m3 The project shall be completed in full on the 30th of September 2026.
